DESCRIPTION:#GivingTuesdayNow is a global day of giving and unity that will take place May 5\, 2020 as an emergency response to the unprecedented need caused by COVID-19. The Children’s Crisis Center has not only remained open to serve children during the pandemic\, but we have also expanded our program to better accommodate the needs of our community. In the past eight weeks we have been very busy applying for and receiving an emergency waiver from California Community Care Licensing\, permitting us to expand our efforts to protect local children through this public health crisis. This waiver has broaden our ability to serve children\, allowing us to extend our service outreach to include children whose parent(s) are Essential Service Workers\, and admit even greater numbers of children into program sites.  The need for community support is great\, the time is now.  Please consider making a donation today\, as any amount is greatly appreciated.
